The Church has always been alongside communities and individuals at difficult times. It is part of our ministry. The clergy and funeral director will help as much as they can with a funeral. A funeral service can be arranged at any of our 3 churches, or other venues such as Llanelli Crematorium, or the Town Cemetery.

There is very limited space available for provision for burials in St Mary’s Churchyard (most burials take place in the town cemetery).

There is a churchyard in Llandyafelog where burial is still possible.

More details about funerals in the Church in Wales can be found herehttp://www.churchinwales.org.uk/life/funeral/ and herehttp://www.churchinwales.org.uk/life/funeral/service.html

Some suggestions for suitable readings hymns can be found herehttp://www.churchinwales.org.uk/life/funeral/readings.html together with links to pages where you can here the hymn being played.
