We welcome discussion with couples thinking of getting married. Do contact one of the clergy as soon as you are ready to do so. Even if you only have a general enquiry we'd be glad to discuss it, and advise you if it is possible to be married in one of our churches.
We normally meet in the church vestry to discuss arrangements, fix the date and time, complete the application form, arrange for the calling of banns, and answer any questions. To complete the booking we take a deposit of £100. No booking is finalised until the deposit is taken.
Another meeting is usually held with the organist playing for the service, to discuss hymns and other music for your marriage service.
A few days before the wedding we hold a rehearsal, when we walk and talk our way through the entire service with all those taking part.
